Owned by Grant Rigby This winery specializes in Blacbery Currant and Rasberry fruit wines from a 14 acre orchard located northwest of Killarney. They have the distinction of being the first estate winery on the prairies. Grant holds a masters degree from the University of Manitoba in food science. Roaming River Ranches Owned by Lawrence & Valerie Papworth, they have a farm approximately 20 minutes South-west of Lethbridge. Five out of 12 acres are planted with Black Currant berries. The rest is set aside for future expansion. The wine is made at Rigby Orchards Estate winery in Manitoba. A second ranch located north of Lethbridge contains a bison and cow herd.
