Lake on the Mountain, a natural phenomenon, 62 metres above the Bay of Quinte. On the west side, 62 metres down, is Lake Ontario. On the east side is Lake on the Mountain, with no visible water source. At the deepest point, the lake goes down about 100 feet. Picnic tables and washroom facilities are available at the lookout point. Next door is Lake on the Mountain Resort, with a very nice restaurant.

R.C.A.F. Memorial Museum at CFB Trenton is a fascinating tribute to our allied soldiers and airmen from WWI and WWII. They are currently raising funds to build a new hanger to house the Halifax plane that is being restored and rebuilt.
When not eating at a local winery, we like to have pizza at the Harbour Restaurant in Wellington.

Wind machines are common in U.S. vineyards. They act like giant fans to blow warm air and keep killer early frosts away from tender grape crops.

This former sheep barn at By Chadsey's Cairns has a great view of Lake Ontario. Future uses could be catered functions or musical events. The name By Chadsey's Cairns comes from one of the first settlers in the area, Loyalist Ira Chadsey.
